The human condition is diverse and complex. There will be moments in life when you face crossroads, not knowing where to go or what to do.

It is usually a choice between the heart and head, the desire and obligation.

Do you choose a dull but stable career or a joyful but unstable one? Do you follow what is expected or listen to your heart's desire? Do you stand up for what is right or remain silent about what is wrong?

These pivotal moments are best approached with calm resolve. No matter the situation, your heart knows the way. To hear the guidance of your heart, you need inner silence. Gentle nudges will appear and point you toward the right path.

When your heart is whole and attuned to it, you'll realise that your heart always speaks and guides you. Yet, it is your choice to follow the direction.

The more often you face these choices, whether the outcome is good or bad, you will gain manifold in life experiences.

These experiences help you become more skilful in taking action, creating and solving problems. You create a greater sense of calm and harmony when solving problems. And when you learn the lessons each experience or situation offers, it transcends and becomes wisdom.

Where there is harmony, there is power.

True power cannot be discovered or captured. True power comes to those who do not seek it. Those who do not wish or seek power understand the consequences of the misuse and abuse of power. And so, others entrust their power to solve problems and create harmony.

Being aware, engaging with life and resolving problems is cyclical. Ultimately, the human experience revolves around a few central themes; love and loss, courage and cowardice, kindness and greed, desire and obligation.

People need to be reminded of the true human condition continuously. Otherwise, people will remain blind, distracted by superficial issues and suffer needlessly. If you choose to take on the task of illuminating the true human condition to others, you can do so through writing or teaching.

If you choose to write, reflect on your writing and consider whether it will stand the passage of time. If well-crafted, your stories may be read, shared, discussed and debated with others and perhaps across generations.

If you choose to teach, find ways to pass on your knowledge and wisdom, particularly to the next generation. Share your experiences. Tell your stories. If there is an opportunity, find your successor. They need not be like you in any way. But, they must be committed to passing knowledge and wisdom to future generations.
