Dear friends...

Firstly... Happy New Year! I hope 2023 has been an incredible year, filled with personal growth, goal-achievements, meaningful friendships and tons of fun!

Secondly, thank you for subscribing to my newsletter, Ling's Letters. This website was previously called "Miss Elle Tea", representing my initials LLT and containing my writing projects. You may still access my previous writing projects.

For those who know me personally, I may seem fairly confident. But inwardly, I harboured many doubts for most of my life. As I gained confidence in my abilities and affirmed my lived experiences, I decided to change my website to reflect my current pursuits better.

I've created this small virtual space to show up, speak up, and share with the world.

I am an Intercultural Psychologist who explores the social science of intercultural relations and advocates for social sustainability.

My writings will be geared towards social psychology, social sustainability, research, education and my life as a PhD student.

Psst... I have yet to launch this website officially. You are the first few to peek!

If you have signed up to my previous website and are expecting more writing projects, I'm genuinely sorry, and you may unsubscribe if you wish to. If you choose to stay, thank you so much! 🙏

Thirdly, I recently published a tl;dr article about my Year-in-Review for 2023.

2023 Year-in-Review: Planting seeds and growing roots
My reflections on the major themes in 2023.

If you want to do some reflections for the year gone by, here are some questions that may help. My dear friend, Vadivu, inspired this list.

  • What made you feel alive?
  • What life lessons emerged?
  • When were you most challenged? Why?
  • What did you discover about yourself?
  • What were the major themes of 2023?
  • What will you do differently in 2023?
  • If 2024 were the last year of your life, how would you live it?
  • What or who are you most grateful for?
  • What other questions may you have for further reflection?

Finally, thanks so much again for your continued support. Please let me know in the comments or email me what you think about my blog and how you'd like my writings to better serve you.

Have a wonderful New Year's Eve. Cherish your time with your loved ones. Have a blessed 2024 filled with love 💖, light ✨ and happiness 🎉!

Cheers,
