Create Safe Spaces

We live in a world where we are constantly told to be someone we are not. The fight to be our authentic selves can be exhausting, the constant tug-of-war between us and everyone else.

And so, we all need safe spaces.

A safe space shields you from the harshness of others, where no physical, mental or emotional danger can harm you.

In this space, people can be physically and emotionally secure with each other. It is a place where you can feel and express yourself fully, without censor, without fear of criticism or ridicule. A safe space is where vulnerability is accepted, expected and celebrated.

When safe spaces are shared with others, people learn to listen, share, tell their stories and build trust. In doing so, tension and discrimination are reduced. Most importantly, safe spaces become a place for group and individual healing.

In safe spaces, others can support your vulnerability, embrace your true self and witness your transformation. Likewise, in witnessing the vulnerability and transformation of others, you will be inspired and transformed.

Create safe spaces wherever you can for the healing and transformation of yourself and your loved ones.
